This weekend, we’re celebrating fathers everywhere. The world’s greatest. The men who bend over backwards.  The ones with the best stories and the worst jokes. The imparters of wisdom. The holders of hands. The tellers of bedtime stories.

What do you get the man that has given everything? When another tie just won’t do, Martinelli’s can help. We’ve come up with a Father’s Day DIY gift for kids to award their dads with the medals they deserve! It’s as easy as it is fun and unique. Each printable cutout also includes a heartfelt message.

Instructions

Step 1:

Select paper. You’ll need to cut off 2 sheets of the same pattern/color for the badge (approx. 3.5” x 7” each), and 2 sheets of a different pattern/color for the ribbons (approx. 1” x 4” each).

Step 2:

Zigzag, or concertina, fold the 2 bigger sheets.

Step 3:

Fold the length of each zigzag strip in half and glue together the edges that meet. You should now have 2 separate semi-circles.

Step 4:

Glue the straight edges of the 2 semicircles together.

Step 5:

With the printout provided by Martinelli’s, cut out the circle with the message of your choice.

Step 6:

Glue the circle to the front of the badge.

Step 7:

Cut triangles out of the edges of the 2 ribbon strips.

Step 8:

Glue or tape the ribbon strips to the back of the badge and cover by gluing a blank circle over them.

Step 9:

Roll a piece of tape, or use double-sided tape, and stick it to the back of the full piece.

Step 10:

Apply the full piece to a Martinelli’s bottle and you’re Father’s Day DIY gift is ready!
