Instructions

  1. Combine apples with Cider in a 2-1/2 to 3-quart pan.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, until fruit is soft and begins to dissolve, 4 to 20 minutes, depending on variety.
  3. Add Cider to thin or if liquid cooks away. Mix in sugar and cinnamon to taste.
  4. Rub unpeeled apple mixture through a coarse strainer; discard peels.
