This Martinelli’s Mule, is a refreshing drink made with Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider, ginger beer, seltzer, cinnamon simple syrup, lemon juice, and a crisp apple. It’s garnished with a cinnamon stick and a rosemary sprig for extra flavor.


  1. Prepare cinnamon simple syrup: Place cinnamon sticks in a mason jar, or other tempered receptacle. Boil water and pour it over the cinnamon sticks. Allow to steep for at least 15 minutes. In a tempered bowl, add sugar and hot water (with the cinnamon sticks) and stir with a whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool completely, then strain out the cinnamon sticks. Seal and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
  2. Add simple syrup and lemon juice in a shaker with ice. Shake briefly and strain into a glass.
  3. Top the glass with sparkling cider, ginger beer, and seltzer. Add ice and stir.
  4. To garnish, take ½  an apple, chop it into small cubes, and place it directly inside the cocktail.
  5. Take a cinnamon stick and insert a rosemary sprig inside it, creating a mini “tree” shape.
  6. Place the cinnamon “tree” directly inside the cocktail, positioning it like a straw.
